Sink and Stove Remodeling
Inside-6
Spring of this year (2006), I startedripping apart the kitchen counter area.Gas line for stove is on top, gas line forMr. Heater is on bottom back of cabinet.  Thethird gas line you see goes to the LP Lamp over Sink.

I then trimmed back the end towards the bedso I could shorten it up to make room for a full size mattressin the Gaucho area. You can see where the wood from the originalcabinet is, its still painted the speckled blue. The clearnon-painted wood is new wood added for the new cabinet.

I then added the sides and backs to the cabinet. The gas line for stove pokes through on top,the gas line for lamp runs up into the wall.  Youcan see it at the upper left side of the cabinet. Inside-9
Now the top and front have been added.Note, I kept the original Scotty towel rack!I also added a water pump, so now there aretwo faucets, one direct connect to waterline, the other one connects to tank via pump.

This is the Mr. Heater location. Its hung usingtwo screws on the side of the cabinet.

Finished!!   Now the fire extinguisher is located over the stove, I guess it should be moved. The Formica was purchased at Lowes and the metal edge was purchased at White Wire Works in Rochester NY. The sink and stove were purchases at Bontrangers in White Pigeon MI. The faucets were purchases on ebay. The Mr.Heater was purchased at Dicks.

Here is where the microwave and 3-way refrigerator go.Tom Duffy had a great idea of putting an AC unit up here also.  I was thinking of putting it under the bed like the 13' Scotties, but since the15' Scotties have the room, it made perfect sense to me to put it here.  So hopefully there will be room to add all three here.

Here is the cabinet ripped apart.Hole for refrigerator venting hasbeen cut out.

Then added the new plywood.I left a hole so the Microwavecould vent.  Also added AC outlet boxDC outlet, TV cable and phone plug (withcell phone not sure there is any reason for thisbut I might need it for the computer).

Fridge-07
Note orange wiring for AC outlets, black wiring for DC outlets, and copper tubing for Fridge. The vary large black wire is the12 gauge 20Amp AC power mains.

Lynn came up with this idea, to justreplace the rounded top cubbies.  But asyou all know, you really can't store anythingup here or it falls out.  So I'm adding doorsto the front of the holes.

Thanks go to
Tom Duffy for his hinges!
Microwave is bolted on from the bottom.
Refrigerator is surplus from one of Nancy
Kroes' surplus RV stores.  Works like newbut it was missing the front panel, I improvised using white-board material.
